MOVEit Vulnerability
An alleged Russian-linked ransomware gang has exploited a vulnerability in a popular file transfer tool called MOVEit to attack both commercial and government targets world-wide. This attack appears to include data theft as well as the deployment of ransomware.
Since we have been asked by one of our customers if this attack had any effect on us, we would like to state publicly that it did not because we do not use this product in our corporate environment. We have no concerns about our local network, our data, or the data we maintain for our customers related to this attack.
Any organization using the MOVEit Managed File Transfer Software should immediately disable it and perform an analysis to determine if and how their environment may have been impacted.
